Subang Jaya Local Plan 2035 (Replacement)
Subang Jaya Local Plan 2035 (Replacement) or RTSJ 2035 is a development plan document containing a proposal map and written statement, supported by planning guidelines. It was prepared in accordance with the legal provisions contained in the Town and Country Planning Act 1976 (Act 172). RTSJ2035 was approved by the Selangor State Planning Committee No. 3/2020 dated 23 October 2020 and obtained the consent of the Selangor State Authority through the Selangor Darul Ehsan State Executive Council (MMKN) Meeting No. 37/2021 dated 3 November 2021. The gazette consent details for RTSJ2035 are Gazette No. Sel G.N 1920/2022 on 26 May.
Direction of the Subang Jaya Local Plan 2035 (Replacement)
A vision is a statement, view, or goal that MBSJ aims to achieve, whether in the short term or long term. It serves as a basis and guide for MBSJ in selecting actions to resolve issues that arise. The vision of RTSJ2035 is A Sustainable City of Choice and Opportunity.
Purpose of the Subang Jaya Local Plan 2035 (Replacement)
RTSJ2035 was prepared to translate the policies contained in the National Physical Plan (RFN) and the Selangor State Structure Plan (RSN) as a guide and development control for the entire administrative area of the Local Planning Authority (PBPT), namely MBSJ. In addition, RTSJ2035 has also taken into account and incorporated international and national policies such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), New Urban Agenda, and the Second National Urbanisation Policy (DPN 2).

| 1 | To replace the Subang Jaya Municipal Council Local Plan 2020, which expired in 2020, so that this local plan is more effective, informative, and up to date; |
| 2 | To provide a Local Plan that is aligned with the Selangor State Structure Plan 2035 and the MBSJ Strategic Plan; |
| 3 | To take into account the latest development policies and guidelines at the Federal and Selangor State levels; |
| 4 | To provide comprehensive development information such as land use, demographics, infrastructure and utilities, community facilities, and urban design information for the use of stakeholders; |
| 5 | To identify areas with potential for redevelopment and urban design improvement; |
| 6 | To provide development guidelines and plans to make MBSJ a sustainable municipality of international standard. |
| RTSJ 2035 was agreed to by the meeting of the Selangor Darul Ehsan State Executive Council (MMKN) Meeting No. 37/2021 dated 3 November 2021, which was confirmed by MMKN No. 38/2021 on 10 November 2021. RTSJ2035 is prepared in four separate volumes as follows: | |
