Subang Jaya Strategic Plan 2020 - 2025

Since the establishment of the Subang Jaya Municipality in 1997, it has never paused from its rapid developmental growth. Guided by the 'MPSJ Strategic Plan 2012-2030', the document has served as a roadmap for the Subang Jaya workforce to ensure that the aspirations and dreams of Subang Jaya urbanites are fulfilled.

Even as leaders come and go, the developmental agenda of Subang Jaya remains continuous and increasingly fortified. As a result, upon reaching the age of 23, Subang Jaya officially attained city status in 2020. The transformative commitment to sustainable urban development continues to be integrated, with social, economic, and environmental elements remaining as core dimensions. Ironically, this city consistently holds on to the word 'vibrant' as its city branding, defining Subang Jaya City Council as a city that is lively, high-spirited, energetic, friendly, and a green city.

To ensure that the direction of Subang Jaya City Council remains relevant, attentiveness to the needs of its citizens and current policies has been a primary consideration in driving the development agenda. To this end, the citizens' 'wish list' is prioritized through a realigned synchronization guided by the New Urban Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, further affirming our global commitment toward transforming Subang Jaya City Council into human settlements that are inclusive, safe, healthy, resilient, prosperous, and sustainable.

Today, this shared vision has been streamlined by innovating upon the existing strategic plan. The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) Strategic Plan 2020-2025 is introduced and established as the official guiding document to carry forward the continuity of excellence of this blessed city. I believe that the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) Strategic Plan 2020-2025 can serve as an effective tool to achieve sustainable development goals and act as a resource for solving current urban issues within this city. This can be achieved by aligning all work execution goals toward elevating the quality of life for the citizens of Subang Jaya City Council.

It is my hope that all members of the workforce and the citizens of Subang Jaya continue this collaborative partnership to collectively write history in building our shared dream city.
